Dr Baber KHAN

Baber qualified from Barts and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2005. He became the Principal dentist of Dartford Road Dental Centre in 2018.

He is the co-owner of Crook Log Dental Practice in Bexleyheath where he has been working since 2007. The same year he was awarded the Ruby Austin Shield for Best Case presentation at the end of his Foundation Year training.

The following year he gained his MFGDP qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Certificate in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. He is a registered member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In 2012 Baber was accepted as a Foundation Year Trainer, a prestigious position where he is responsible for the in-house training of newly qualified dentists, a position he has held since.

In 2013 he completed his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons and was selected as the Dentsply Prize winner for his cohort. The following year he was shortlisted as a Finalist for the Best Young Dentist award held by the prestigious Dentistry Awards.
In 2017 he completed his Master of Science degree in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Leeds.

He has a special interest in advanced Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry. Through his extensive postgraduate training he has honed his skills to provide a specialist level of care to his patients.

In his spare time Baber enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with his family.


Dr Naeem Khaleel

Naeem qualified with honours from the Cardiff University School of Dentistry in 2014. Following completion of his Foundation Training Naeem continued to work as an associate dentist in London and Kent prior to joining the team at Dartford Road Dental Centre in 2018.

Professionally, Naeem’s interests lie in the field of Endodontics, and he is currently undertaking the final year of his diploma at Kings College Hospital, allowing him to tackle complicated root canal treatments, as well as putting him in a position to accept referrals from colleagues.

Outside of work Naeem enjoys tennis, hiking and photography. He also has a keen interest in travelling which took him to the peak of Kilimanjaro in 2012.


Dr Claire Louise Culverwell

BSc BDS Dentist

Dr Culverwell qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2016 but has worked in dentistry since 2005, first training as a dental nurse and working her way up to be a dental hygienist/therapist before deciding to train as a dentist.

During her training, Claire gained many awards and acclamations including:

  • 2009 – Colgate award for highest overall end of year mark
  • 2009 – Dentsply award for outstanding Case Presentation
  • 2009 – Oral B award for highest mark in clinical skills
  • 2016 – Koran Feray Prize for highest mark in end of year Case Presentation
  • 2017 – NHS Health Education England award for best Case Presentation
  • 2017 – National Foundation Dentist of the Year (Royal College of Surgeons)

Claire is passionate about dentistry and strives to provide the very best of care for her patients. She provides all aspects of general dentistry and advanced facial aesthetics, and has an interest in complex periodontal cases. Claire also has a wealth of experience in treating those patients with dental anxiety.


Dr Nekhil Dattani

BDS (Sheffield), MSc (Implantology)

Nekhil trained at the University of Sheffield and then completed his vocational training in the community dental service. Here he was specifically trained to treat children and adults with medical problems, and nervous patients.

Following this, he worked in several London hospitals, in oral medicine and oral and maxillofacial surgery departments. It was during this time that he passed the MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Since then Nekhil has worked in general practice. He has trained with renown cosmetic dentist, Dr Chris Orr, and completed a masters degree in dental implantology. He practices all areas of dentistry and is particularly interested in minimally invasive dentistry. He is keen on postgraduate education and is a young dentist group representative in the Essex branch of the British Dental Association, which involves arranging lectures for dentists in the area.

In his spare time he likes to keep fit and dance, and has performed in several dance groups.


Nicola Walker

Nicola began her career in dentistry in 2002 as a dental nurse. In 2006 Nicola went on to qualify as a Hygiene/Therapist from Barts the Royal London University of Medicine and Dentistry gaining a Diploma in Dental Hygiene (with distinction) and a Diploma in Dental Therapy.

Nicola is keen on the study of Periodontology (the health and disease if the gums) which is also her main clinical role in the dental team.

My name is Kim; I joined the practice in 2001 as a receptionist and gained my BTEC certificate in Dental Practice Management in July 2002. I see the main aim of my job is to oversee the smooth running of the practice and to be patient’s first point of contact when needed.

Catherine Mawson

Catherine qualified from Kings College Dental Hospital in 2008 with a Distinction in the dual qualification of Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Catherine has undertaken post-graduation training in the provision of tooth whitening and the treatment of nervous patients in which she takes a particular interest in.

Catherine prides herself on a gentle and empathetic approach and her passion for oral health and prevention of dental disease has meant our patients enjoy a unique service that’s individual focused.

She is particularly interested in the treatment of Periodontal Gum Disease and working with her patients to regain control over their gum health.
In her spare time, Catherine is busy being a mum to twin girls and her son, she enjoys baking and travel.
