Creation of a practice representative of our vision of dentistry

This notion resonated with our vision at Crook Log Dental when considering creating a practice fit for the future. We became co-owners of the practice in 2009 and since then have been making improvements, initially within the surgical rooms and then the decor. We believe the practice in every aspect should represent the ethos of the group clinicians visions, that of provision of excellent dentistry centred around a relaxing patient experience, tailored to the needs and expectations of the clientele we attract.

It quickly became apparent to us that our practice appearance was not really representing the type of dentistry we were doing. In effect, it was giving out mixed messages. On one hand we were aiming to give the ultimate dental experience; on the other hand, the décor and layout were tired and dated. We discussed this with our designers (Paradigm Design Solutions) and they worked with us to put a coherent plan in place that would clearly position the practice and give it a strong‭ ‬ and‭ ‬ memorable brand identity.

The process began with a clear vision, which we communicated to the design team involving a large scale reconstruction. The CGI’s attached show what the initial consultation yielded and then almost a year after the reconstruction of the receptions area photographs show a clear realisation of the original vision. The reconstructive work saw the surgery be finalists in the prestigious Private Dentistry Awards 2017.

For us the two essential aspects leading to a successful transformation were:

1. A clear vision of our goal when providing dentistry.
2. Clear communication with a great design team

With these two salient ingredients, the vision became a reality, as can be seen below.
