What is Denplan Care?

Denplan Care is a comprehensive dental plan for our patients, covering preventive and restorative oral healthcare treatments. What you pay per month depends on your oral health, making sure you only pay for what you need.

What does Denplan Care include?

  • Dental check-ups (as clinically necessary)
  • Dental hygiene visits (as clinically necessary)
  • Dental x-rays
  • Necessary fillings
  • Necessary extractions
  • Periodontal treatment
  • Preventive dental advice and therapy
  • Crowns, dentures and bridgework (excluding lab fees)
  • Root canal treatment

What’s not included with Denplan Care?

  • Lab fees / prescriptions
  • Any treatments your dentist has specially excluded from your contract
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
  • Treatment carried out elsewhere
  • Orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment
  • Sedation fees
  • Extraction of wisdom teeth
  • Treatment that’s not clinically necessary

What is Denplan Essentials?

Denplan Essentials is a dental plan which helps you budget for your routine preventive dental care. Seeing your dentist regularly is important as it can help you avoid having to undergo costly, restorative treatments. The dental plan is easy to set up and no pre-assessment is necessary.

What does Denplan Essentials include?

  • Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
  • Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your Contract)
  • Dental x-rays
  • Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your contract
  • Preventive dental advice

What’s not included with Denplan Essentials?

  • Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)
  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract which is payable by you to the dentist
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
  • Sedation fees

What is Denplan Children?

Denplan for Children is a dental plan designed to help parents budget for their child’s routine dental care while encouraging healthy habits from an early age. Regular visits allow your dentist to monitor development, prevent dental issues, and provide guidance tailored to growing smiles. The plan is simple to set up and typically does not require a pre-assessment.

What does Denplan for Children include?

  • Routine dental check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
  • Preventive advice tailored to children, including oral hygiene and diet guidance
  • Fluoride treatments, where clinically appropriate
  • Fissure sealants to help protect developing teeth (as specified in your contract)
  • Dental x-rays if required
  • Any additional preventive care specified by the dentist in your contract

What’s not included with Denplan for Children?

  • Restorative treatments unless specified in your contract
  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Orthodontic treatment, including braces
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
