NATIONAL SMILE MONTH

UK’s largest Oral Health Campaign organised by the British Dental Health Foundation!  Runs between 19^th May to 19^th June 2014.

The Campaign is to ultimately improve the UK’s oral health, by raising awareness of important health issues and to make a positive difference. It was created almost 40 years ago and has helped to organise and run thousands of events and projects to ultimately engage people in the importance of oral health

The three key messages which help us develop and maintain healthy mouths are:

1. Brush your teeth for 2 minutes twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste.
2. Cut down on how frequently you have sugary foods and drinks and avoid having them between meals.
3. Visit your dentist regularly, as often as recommended.
