So much has changed, since 1st April 2018, when Dr Khan took over at Dartford Road Dental Centre.

Our team has grown and evolved to now provide a wider range of treatments and services to our valued patients, the practice has undergone extensive refurbishment (we’re not done yet!) and the number of amazing patients we treat has grown, predominately through word of mouth referrals from other satisfied patients.

As you can see the aesthetics of the practice has changed a lot, in recent years.

To celebrate our latest milestone, we are offering 50% of new patient check ups for the whole month of April!

Our new patient consultations (check ups!) usually cost £80, that means, during April you will be saving a huge £40!

While you will be paying less for your first visit, fear not, you will still be receiving the same fantastic service we provide to each and every one of our patients.  Our kind, empathetic Dentists and support staff will guide you through your first visit and make you feel safe and comforted throughout your appointment.

Our new patient consultations include:

1. A discussion regarding your medical history including any medications, allergies and social history
2. An assessment and advice on your at-home Oral Health routine
3. A discussion regarding your concerns about the health of  your teeth/gums
4. A discussion about the concerns about the appearance of your teeth
5. A full mouth cancer screening
6. A breakdown of identified dental treatment needs, this follows an extensive clinical assessment of your teeth and gums
7. 2 Bitewing Radiographs (if required) to enable the Dentist to assess the areas of your mouth we cannot see
8. A detailed treatment plan, with applicable options and associated costs
9. An assessment of your occlusion (bite) and your TMJ (jaw joint)
10. A thorough soft tissue assessment

Dr Zainab Naseer, joined us in 2019, here she gives a snapshot of a day in the life as a Dartford Road Dentist!

“I usually arrive, around 8am, which gives me time to change and go back through my diary for the day, ahead of my first patient.  I have a  chat with my Nurse, just to go over the finer details of  the day… most importantly, its then on to our first patient of the day!

An overview of my day:

My days are usually a mix of check ups and treatments, such as Composite Bonding, Invisalign or fillings. Patient care is at the heart of everything  we do. We always ensure that our patient is happy and comfortable throughout any appointment.  I LOVE to see  the patient’s reaction when  they see their new, improved smile for the  first time following Composite Bonding or Veneers, it really makes the hard work from myself and the team worth it! 

Planning ahead!

At the end of  the day, I begin to assess my next clinic and proactively organise everything I need for the next session, I thank my lovely nurse (we couldn’t do this without our nurses!) and leave the practice to get home for a well deserved rest!”

Bev, who has been with Dartford Road Dental Centre, for over 15 years, has been a patient favorite forever at our practice!

Here Bev talks briefly about what keeps her going at work…

“I love nursing, talking to patients (probably too much!) and getting to know them.  Having been here so long, and have seen generations of patients from the same families, it’s so lovely that they trust us so much to introduce their loved ones to the practice, it really means a lot to us all. 

I worked very hard to become a qualified Dental Nurse and have always enjoyed adding to that knowledge. Last year, I completed a Lead Nurse course, which has subsequently helped me and the team. 

I particularly like to assist Wassim, with Dental Implants. Just seeing how happy the patients are afterwards, certainly is the best feeling. I recommend Dental Nursing as a career, it can be very rewarding!
